Employee name: Jacek Starosz
Thinking outside of the box, Jacek came up with an idea to reduce rinsing time on the brick margarine production line at our edible oils plant by combining two sequences (line and pasteurizer) into one process. By installing additional valves and modifying the line’s control system, he shortened the rinsing cycle by one hour – which translates to 90 hours of extended availability of the line – increasing our plant’s annual brick margarine production capacity by over 300 tons to help us better serve customers.

One year later, SolMIX zinc was successfully introduced to the market, receiving the industry’s 2011 Technological Innovation Award and laying the foundation for Bunge innovation in fertilizer for years to come.
